joe + jess - gratton grange farm
A working farm, in a hidden part of the peak district, stunning diy decorations and a lovely and fun couple… We couldn’t ask for more! Oh, and the farm have a resident goat called Frankie, who liked to eat bouquets.
Here is what the amazing Joe and Jess said:
‘We spoke to a few photographers for our wedding but Meg and Scott stood out not only for their talent but for 'getting it' when it came to what we wanted and after meeting them at a wedding fair we were sure they were the ones for us!
There was some strange requests that they happily took on from us including a family picture with the Shetland pony and we found many moments my husband and I hadn't even realised we'd had. They were perfectly sneaky in tricking us into ease when we were nervous about the photos on our own and sent us off walking / exploring so we didn't feel like we were posing. I (the bride) had a few wobbly moments during the day when the stress of a DIY wedding got a bit much and I was worried my face would be like thunder for the getting ready pictures but Meg some how managed to get so many good bits, I actually had to remind myself I had been like that! We've had a few laughs with friends since, as they caught a few loving / soppy looks from them to us on camera when they thought they had got away with it! The dancing pictures were also a particular treat definitely capturing the effects of the free bar!
Our photos are so natural and beautiful we're so happy with all of them. Meg and Scott told our story perfectly and laughed with us along the way. Thank you so much for being such a supportive and calming influence and producing pictures that will be treasured forever.’
