If you’re planning a relaxed, alternative wedding in Sheffield and want a day that feels completely you, Rebecca and Tom’s celebration is the perfect inspiration.
From a Henderson the dog, a very cool campervan to a sunset around Kelham Island, their day was packed with personality, heart, and a seriously good party to finish.
Rebecca and Tom chose two of our favourite venues in Sheffield, The Chimney House and Kelham Island Museum, for a day that blended intimate moments with big, joyful energy.
The Chimney House set the tone perfectly. It’s one of those venues that just works for couples who want something an intimate space that’s cosy, characterful, and ideal for a relaxed ceremony without any fuss.
One of the absolute highlights? Henderson 🐾
Their dog was such a big part of the day, and we are always here for dogs at weddings. It instantly makes everything feel more personal and relaxed, and honestly, Henderson stole the show more than once.
After the ceremony, we headed into Kelham Island for a few portraits and including a must-do stop outside Fagan’s.
If you know Sheffield, you’ll know the famous “snog” mural and of course, Rebecca and Tom had to recreate it with help from Henderson. These are the kinds of moments we love building into a wedding day, relaxed, fun, and actually meaningful to the couple.
No awkward posing. Just real moments in places that matter.
The celebrations continued at Kelham Island Museum, which is such a great choice if you’re planning a bigger reception. It’s got that iconic industrial Sheffield feel, loads of space, amazing light, and the freedom to really make it your own.
And Rebecca and Tom absolutely went for it.
Their evening was exactly what you’d hope for, packed dance floor, loads of laughter, and zero holding back. This is what we always tell our couples: when you plan a day that feels natural and true to you, the party takes care of itself.
